Communications and stakeholder engagement
Nation Partners is currently supporting the delivery of communications and engagement services on the Level Crossing Removal Project, which involves the removal of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings around Melbourne.
Working collaboratively with the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) team to support all aspects of communications and engagement when and where needed, members of our team are assisting LXRP to navigate a range of project issues while continuing to promote the project’s benefits through various communications channels.
Our team has also assisted with on the ground engagement activities as well as consultation with individual landowners affected by the project.
Client challenge + benefit delivered
Communicating a vast amount of construction and disruption-related information while engaging communities on the long-term benefits and positive outcomes being brought about by the project.
Our team played a leading role in establishing LXRP’s highly successful digital team and channels, including the PRIA award-winning campaign that generated positivity and broad community support during a 37 day, 24/7 work period of the North, McKinnon and Centre level crossing removal projects.
Maintaining positive relationships with communities in which the project teams are working is crucial to the projects success.
Whether we are working with landowners whose homes are subject to acquisition or community members who are significantly disrupted by level crossing projects, our approach and professionalism has helped to build relationships and create understanding with communities and stakeholders.
